Seeking a military veteran with Electrical/Instrumentation experience from their time in service, or time in civilian industry to enhance the maintenance and operations at a Fortune 200 manufacturing facility. The E/I Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Area Leader and is responsible for supporting the Mill's visions and creating long term value measured by improved equipment reliability through the use of Operations Excellence and do it from a Market Based Management (MBM) perspective (5 Dimensions and Guiding Principles). Specifically, the position focuses on safely executing E/I jobs for Mill Maintenance that repairs equipment and improves equipment reliability (capable, stable, and predictable) thereby reducing unplanned events while improving uptime, availability, and costs. Reliability improvements are expected as a result of utilizing reliability best practices in the job plans and developing complete asset strategies to manage and/or mitigate the risk and consequences of premature failures.A Day in The Life Typically Includes: Supporting the Mill's visions, embracing and applying the MBM Framework and Guiding Principles while promoting and supporting the role Reliability has. Supporting the Mill in achieving its targets for EHS, Quality, Costs, Reliability, and Production. Supporting the Mill through the application of the Reliability Mental Model Elements, with primary responsibility for Electrical and Instrumentation. Working independently (self-directed), or as part of a team and lead teams. Managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Utilizing good analytical, innovative, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Utilizing strong PC skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. Utilizing good written and verbal communication skills.What You Will Need:Honorable discharge from US military serviceHigh School Diploma or equivalentThree (3) years of experience in the field of electrical and instrumentation in a manufacturing facilityTechnical knowledge base of electrical and instrumentationKnowledge of Reliability Best Practices, RCAs, Preventive Maintenance, and Predictive MaintenanceExperience developing asset strategiesWhat Will Put You Ahead?Electrical Engineering DegreeTen (10) years of experience in the field of electrical and instrumentation in a manufacturing facilityFive (5) or more years of experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry in Maintenance or EngineeringTwo (2) years of supervising experienceThere are many positions open in this military hiring initiative, and some we won't even know about as they are on an extreme talent hunt.
