Are you ready to join a team that is looking to grow and expand?As an Electrical and Instrumentation technician your roles will consists of installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of systems essential to the efficient and safe operation of the facility.The following are tasks that will be expected:-Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, P&IDs (Piping and instrumentation diagrams) and engineering instructions.- Apply knowledge of electronic theory and components- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions- Test electronics units and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine the need for adjustment- Calibrate instrumentation; adjust or replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems; maintain system logs or manuals to document testing and operation of equipmentThis position will maintain instrumentation, electrical and control systems within the facility. A strong electronic and/or electrical background is required in this position. Knowledge of troubleshooting, ladder logic, variable speed drives and control systems are a plus.This is an exciting role for someone that is searching for a location that will allow them to earn the most bang for their buck as the cost of living is low, and the housing market is affordable. You are only 25 mins away from the University of Kansas, and 50 minutes from Kansas City. $35 - $37/hour, overtime available, shift differential of $2.50/hour available- 2% bonus quarterly- Full medical benefits with low premiums- 401k w/ 4% match on 6% - Generous PTO 4 weeks a year- 9 paid holidays.The most exciting part is the fact there are two shifts that you could work. If you choose to work Monday – Friday, you will have a 730am - 4pm schedule. You also could work a 7am to 7pm schedule but only work 4 days one week, and then have 3 days off, work 3 days the next week, and then have 4 days off.This will also allow you to have built in overtime, that is paid at time and a half, which will be near 200 hours a year resulting in a bump in take home pay close to $10k.
