  • Design, maintain, implement, or improve electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
  • Establish and maintain construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, national and local codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
  • Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Supervise and train project team members, both internal and external.
  • Write Safe Work Permits and perform job setup for anything over 480 volts.
  • Champion electrical equipment stewardship.
  • Participate in daily planning and scheduling for site maintenance staff, focusing mostly on electrical planning and troubleshooting, but developing skills to fill in for Maintenance Supervisor during short-term absences, as needed.
  • Champion SAP electrical planning and scheduling.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school
  • A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment with extensive high voltage experience and also instrumentation experience
  • Experience with industrial Distributed Control Systems
  • Hands-on experience with plant electrical and instrumentation equipment maintenance and troubleshooting:
    • Variable Frequency Drives
    • Motors
    • Discrete & Analog Instrumentation
    • Industrial communication protocols (HART, Modbus, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, etc)
    • Automated valves
    • Safety Critical Interlocks
    • Low voltage power systems
  • Proficiency in applicable codes related to electrical engineering.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
