The ROLE:The Maintenance Engineer leads electrical engineering support of plantissues that are impacting production day to day. Acts as the technicalexpert responsible for resolving equipment based or repairtechnique-based issues, which impact the availability andmaintainability of the facility. Serves as subject matter expert inequipment failures and repair techniques during root causeinvestigations. Provides input to MIQA process. Performs regular fieldassessments of equipment. Qualifications:- BS Electrical Engineering or related discipline required- 5-10 years of manufacturing or related experience required;Responsibilities:- Develops Maintenance Procedure Use Policy: 1) Performs technicalreviews of procedures; 2) Serves as a technical resource duringprocedure creation and review; 3) Creates and reviews job proceduresand checklists, and initiates procedure Management of Change workprocess (MOC).- Serves as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repairtechniques during root cause investigations.- Delivers maintenance input into project activities and acts aselectrical maintenance representative for capital projects.- Develops turnaround scopes and supports turnaround activities.- Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to develop work scopes anddrive solutions.- Delivers input to the Reliability Top Opportunity List.- Provides input to Mechanical Integrity Quality Assurance (MIQA)process.- Performs regular field assessments of equipment.Capabilities Required for this Role (Knowledge Skills & Abilities):- Skilled in creating/reviewing technical procedures (StandardPractice, Standard Operating Procedures)- SAP working knowledge for Bill of Materials improvement- Defining scope of work for projects- Root cause analysis (rca)- Proficient in troubleshooting Allen-Bradley and Siemens adjustablespeed drives and associated I/O- Proficient in troubleshooting Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs andassociated I/O- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings,schematics, and machine control diagrams- Low voltage electrical power distribution experience is a plus- Familiarity with the National Electric Code, arc flash hazardanalysis, and machine guarding is a plusBehaviors Required for this Role:- Intellectual curiosity - Proactively investing time and energy intolearning more and personally developing, in the interest ofimproving yourself and delivering better results- Functional skills - The specific skills and experiences needed todeliver and accelerate in your current role and throughout yourcareer- Resilient - Does not fall to pieces at the first blow or failure;stays focused during organizational turmoil; handles pressure anddoes not take things personally.- Actively listening - Knows what she/he doesn't know; welcomes inputfrom others; takes time to clearly understand and respond; allowspeople the time to express their point; open to influence.
