Electrical Maintenance MechanicShift/Hours: 3rd shift 7pm - 7am - Rotating Shifts.MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFTPay Rate: $34-$36/hrLocation: Canton, GAExperience: 2+ years of Electrical/Industrial Maintenance experience. Knowledge of 3 phase Electrical Circuits, Motor Control Circuits & PLC Programming Experience.PrideStaff is working with a well known manufacturer who is in search of multiple Electrical Maintenance Mechanics. The Electrical Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing motor control circuits, working with PLC programming and preventive maintenance. The ideal Electrical Maintenance Mechanic exhibits excellent mechanical knowledge, has worked as an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing facility and understands PLC Programming and Fanuc robots. The Electrical Maintenance Mechanic is a full time, direct hire position in Canton, GA. Electrical Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities include:
  • Troubleshoot & Repair Motor Control Circuits
  • Install New Fixtures, Motors, Light & Control Circuits as Well as Other Electrical Equipment
  • Work With PLC Programming & Troubleshooting Discrete Ladder Logic, Forces, Searching & Timers
  • Respond & Handle Maintenance Calls
  • Possess Basic Understanding of Fanuc Robots
  • Troubleshoot & Replace Variable Speed Drives, Temperature Controllers & Chart Recorders
  • Operate Safety Electrical Test Equipment Including Ammeter, Ticker & Voltmeter
  • Troubleshoot & Repair Low Voltage Control Circuits & Three Phase Motor Circuits up to 480 Volts
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance on Equipment & Assist With New Installations of Plant Equipment
  • Assist With Other Duties as Required
  • Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines
Electrical Maintenance Mechanic Requirements include:
  • High School Diploma Required
  • 2+ Years of Industrial Electrician or Multi-Craft Technician Experience Preferred
  • Knowledge of 3 Phase Electrical Circuits, Motor Control Circuits & PLC Programming Experience Required
  • Forklift Certification, Aerial Lift Certification, Confined Spaces Certification, Crane Certification, Fall Protection Certification, Hot Workers Certification, Lock-Out/Tag-Out Certification & Pallet Jack Certification Required (certified during new hire orientation)
  • Knowledge of PLC & Variable Frequency Drives & NFPA 70E Required
  • Excellent Math Skills & Blueprint Reading Experience Required
  • Must be Able to Lift 50+ Lbs as Needed
  • Knowledge of HMI Programs, RSLogix 500 & RSLogix 5000 Programming Software Required
  • Demonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication
