A global manufacturer of opacity pigments is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician in their Rome, GA location. Their unique and patented process allows them to develop and produce world-leading products that provide their customers with greater cost flexibility in their formulations.In this role you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, perform preventative maintenance processes, and take part in diagnosing production, quality, and/or safety issues in area of responsibility and implement corrective actions as needed.Major duties and essential job responsibilities:- Wear appropriate PPE and promote a safe working environment- Troubleshoot equipment, including various electrical components of the manufacturing processes- Fill out job reports, calibration reports, and checklists in a timely and accurate manner- Work with all personnel and outside contractors to keep equipment operational and to complete projects - Fabricate and modify machinery components as directed- Install machinery and equipment associated with manufacturing, facility, and plant systems- Fabricate and modify machinery components as directed- Communicate schedule conflicts or machine breakdowns immediately to the Supervisor- Report schedule conflicts or machine breakdowns to the affected area and across the organization as needed- Assist in the development and adjustments of the PM schedule to the operation level of the plantThis is a day shift role. The hiring Manager is a Recruit Military candidate. Looking to hire a veteran with electrical skills and will train.Location is for Rome, GA, about 1.5 hours northwest of Atlanta.Base salary, $65 - $75K, full benefits and a 401k with overtime.
