1st, 2nd ** Description :**

This position is responsible for the assembly of stock components and for trouble shooting returned products from the field. Interaction with Engineering Department is required for design change, product enhancement and improving customer satisfaction.

** Responsibilities :**

Perform mechanical assembly and cleaning of various crane components.

** Required Qualifications :**

* Build or assemble both non-electrified and electrified components by following the specified directions from the job paperwork

* Identify any potential issues

* Communication with Electrical Technicians

* Notify Production Supervisor when maintenance supplies and parts need to be ordered or replenished prior to running out

* Maintain the general equipment, machinery, and work area

* Keep the equipment and area clean and free of excess debris

** Preferred Skills :**

* Basic wiring knowledge

* Basic use of hand tools

* Basic electrical knowledge

* Read basic blueprints and electrical schematics

* Panel building experience

* Cable running experience

* Fine motor skills

* Ability to work overtime

* Able to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds

* Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel or crouch (5%), as required

* Able to sit in a confined space

* Able to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout shift

* Able to wear hearing protectors (earplugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels
