Orange County Convention Center is seeking candidates to apply for entry level electrical and plumbing roles in ourEvent Utilities department.
Job Description
Representative Duties/Assignments
Apprentice- Assist experienced technicians in the installation of temporary electrical services for events.
Technician- Able to install simple installation of temporary utilities and plumbing services for events.
Senior Technician- Able to install temporary utilities services and plumbing services for events.Able to install temporary utilities, plumbing services for events and troubleshoot equipment and services as needed.
UL Shop
Technicians- Able to assemble and repair equipment.
Senior Technician-Able to layout and manufactureequipment used by the Event Utilities Department.
Minimum Qualifications
* Proven experience in electrical orplumbing work, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems or plumbing systems, and related codes and safety standards.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.
Preferences
* Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical and plumbing installations and repairs.
