Project Engineer - Electrical

Your responsibilities will span project scheduling, equipment and subcontractor procurement, and document control, among others. This position is for our electrical division which is responsible for the Power, Wiring, and Lighting scopes of work for new construction projects as well as remodel work in buildings such as K-12 schools, hospitals and associated healthcare buildings, high-rise buildings, solar fields, and other commercial and industrial building types. This role is in our Sterling, Illinois office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project schedules.
  • Support field labor coordination.
  • Procure equipment and materials.
  • Manage subcontractor services.
  • Maintain document control.
  • Coordinate project activities.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, electrical engineering or construction management preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of building electrical systems and design or previous construction experience.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 annually.
