Title: Electrical Project Manager Location: Poughkeepsie, NY area Salary: $90k - $130k/year Base Salary Founded in 1934, we have been serving the Hudson Valley area for 80+ years providing full electrical contracting services forour customers with residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. We are looking for a Electrical Project Manager with strong experience electrical project management that is experienced with residential, commercial, municipal, and/or industrial projects. What You Will Be Doing 1) Plan and organize a project 2) Prepare project estimates, scope, and present proposals to clients 3) Interact with vendors to secure best project pricing 4) Train and effectively supervise Project Engineers in the company philosophy and systems 5) Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project 6) Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and General Superintendent to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budgets 7) Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion 8) Prepare monthly costing reports 9) Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client What You Need for this Position 1) Bachelor's degree in construction, construction mangement, or related field; or related construction experience 2) 5+ years with Electrical Project Management: Commercial, Industrial, and/or Municipal 3) Knowledgeable with construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods 4) Proven experience with team management: mentoring/training/equipping 5) Proficient with computer/Microsoft Office/Bluebeam/Procore What's In It for You Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching, leadership development) and more!
