Job Details:ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGEROur New York based client is looking to immediately hire an Electrical Project Manager.Description
- Ensure that materials and supplies are on-hand to facilitate an efficient work flow, while balancing material and supply budgets for the job.
- Ensure that jobs are properly staffed to maintain labor budgets, work flow, and to maximize efficiency.
- Prioritize labor, material and equipment resources based on needs, forecasts and work flow.
- Maintain appointments and commitments as scheduled.
- Maintain a regular presence at all Company jobsites to stay abreast of conditions and progress.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of jobs, their schedules, and their progression.
- Use this knowledge to work with field personnel to make informed decisions regarding personnel, equipment and supplies to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and maintain schedules to assign manpower and maintain project budgets.
- Maintain professional appearance at all times (clean vehicle, neat uniform, neat work, courteous to others, language).
- Compile project knowledge and information to present clear and concise reports to management.
- Maintain a clear production path and maximize Company profitability by facilitating and managing the flow of information between field personnel and those having the ability to provide answers. Provide proposals for any resulting changes and job impacts.
- Maintain clear and open lines of communication with suppliers, crews and company personnel daily, utilizing the most efficient and effective method.
- Build and maintain relationships with employees, suppliers, clients and their personnel
- Ensure that required paperwork is maintained and submitted in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe working environment and help ensure that all personnel are following safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
- Lead by example for others to follow by adhering to Company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
- Care for and maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles
