Position OverviewThe Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, primarily in the commercial, education, medical, and multi-family sectors.Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical project planning and management from inception to completion.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial guidelines.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and construction teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Review and approve electrical designs and plans to ensure compliance with NEC and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, preferably in commercial, education, medical, and multi-family projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
