This role will be responsible for proactively and aggressively price shopping materials and supplies for our projects. A good driving record will be essential to the associate hired for this position, as they may need to be added to our commercial insurance policy to drive a fleet vehicle from time to time. Attention to detail and flexibility will be 2 of the most important attributes of a successful team member in this role. This associate will also need to be organized, detail oriented, and technologically savvy, with the ability to learn new software and programs with ease. A good working knowledge of Excel is a must. Responsibilities Researching, Proactively Price Shopping, and Purchasing to ensure savings on Materials, Goods, and Services. Negotiating Contracts and Prices with Material Suppliers. Working with PM's, APM's, Lead Electricians, Field Managers, and other Senior Management to establish job start packages that are complete. Locating Suppliers Near our Active Projects. Processing local supplier/distributor will calls. Processing Purchase Orders. Monitoring Inventory Levels.
