Electrical Service Supervisor Owen Electric has been in business since 1986. We primarily do large commercial, institutional, and multifamily electrical construction projects. We are based in Northeast Florida and our primary area of operations is the Southeastern United States. The Electrical Service Supervisor is a hands/tools on position that will assist the Service Manager in daily supervision of other electricians along with completing reports and daily paperwork.Requirements:
- Five plus years in the electrical industry in field installation and supervising other technicians.
- Strong background in electrical troubleshooting required
- Track record of completing quality projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key contractors and clients.
- Extensive material, lighting and distribution knowledge.
- Basic estimating skills.
- Knowledge and experience processing change orders from start to finish
- Experience managing safety aspects of a project (OSHA 30 Certification highly preferred).
- Computer skills include Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality electrical installation and service.
- Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components.
- Installations include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment, power supply wiring, MC cable, strut, raceways, cables, support systems, and cable tray.
- This position is for an electrician with a strong background in service.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and find solutions to a wide variety of electrical issues.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics for installation and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to bend conduit up to 1-1/4 with a hand bender.
- Strong Organizational Computer Skills
- Must be able to terminate panels and transformers in a neat and workmanlike manner.
- Adhere to daily operating and safety procedures.
