With our core value of CARE and standards that define who we are as a company, you will have the opportunity to build a lucrative and rewarding career.Here are even more reasons to join the Happy Hiller Team!- Our Family Owned & Care Culture- OUR VALUES- Healthy Work/Life Balance- Established Career Paths- Advancement Opportunities- Year-round work - NO LAYOFFS- 401k Plan w/ Company Match- Employee Referral Program- Regular Performance Reviews- Paid Training in our state-of-the-art facilityBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision insuranceLong and Short-term disabilityCompany paid $50,000 life insuranceCompany paid vacationPaid holidaysMedical Flex Spending accounts - Family carePosition Summary:To assist in the achievement of the company's strategic objective and annual goals through the delivery of exceptional service and support reflective of Hiller Plumbing Heating Cooling and Electrical (the Company) vision, mission, purpose, and values.Responsibilities:•Create a positive customer experience by completing the service correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes, to avoid refunds and recalls.•Mentor apprentices under his/her care to achieve the desired performance metrics.•Consistently provide accurate True Transparency pricing in advance of starting any work.•Be available for overtime and on-call status to respond to electrical emergencies.•Perform a thorough and accurate electrical inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet. •Provide electrical service, repair, and/or replacement to customer's electrical system. •Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established. •Understand when to issue a Lock Out/Tag Out tags and the required follow-up steps.•Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record, and deliver fees to designated office administration. •Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service. •Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators. •Facilitate rescheduling customer appointment if call is not complete. •Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools. •Follow state and local laws and regulations and adhere to local building codes.•When issues are identified, prepare a detailed finding report with pictures to discuss with the customer.•Present repair options to include cost using the options sheet. •Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried. •Responsible to contact dispatch to disposition recall and warranty jobs to assure they are recorded correctly.•Process warranty parts and paperwork as the job is completed.•Record all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing.•Coordinate with other departments to ensure appropriate job objectives are met effectively and completely. •Inform a manager if the customer does not have electrical services before leaving the call. •Protect customer's home from damage while working and leave customer's home cleaner than when you arrived.•Manage to performance metrics scorecard.•Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships. •Report safety issues and concerns to team lead/supervisor/manager to investigate and implement a solution.•Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements:•TN State Electrical License preferred or working towards (required in KY). •A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. •A minimum of four years' experience preferred but not required in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical issues. •A valid driver's license and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier. •Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through. •Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals. •Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations. •Function in a team environment. #hillersp$25 - $35 an hourWe sincerely thank all applicants in advance for submitting their interest in this position.Hiller is an EEOC employer.Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment drug screens and background checks.Apply today if you have what it takes to be a part of the industry's best team in the home service industry!
