Our client is targeting a candidate with a strong an electronics/electrical background and working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and components, electrical theory, power generation, and Ladder Logic maintenance.They have a need for this position in their Brockway, PA facility.The Shop Tech's primary function is troubleshooting, repairing, and preventative maintenance of control systems and production equipment.You will need knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of electrical and electronic diagnostic equipment and understanding of AC & DC motor and drive controller operations, as well as Ladder Logic devices.The Tech will also provide start-up customer support for finished and delivered equipment materials. The current Tech is retiring in the next 12-months and is looking to train the replacement candidate.Competitive salary, DOE; 401k plan, and benefits package.
