This position is an experienced skilled electrician role that creates value by performing a variety of electrical systems and maintenance duties, ensuring maximum facility uptime to meet production goals. To learn more about our Building Products division, visit You Will Do In Your RoleMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems, instrumentation, electronic circuits, motor controls, relay logic, AC/DC drives and low voltage switchgearInstall and make changes to industrial electrical equipmentWork with mechanical and electrical machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, performing electrical preventative maintenance tasks (PM's)Work in a very fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety, quality, environmental concerns, and production goalsMaintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots and other PPE as required by specific jobsMust be willing and able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as requiredWho You AreMust have at least two (2) years of experience working as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environmentKnowledge and experience of 3 phase 480-volt electrical systemsHigh School Diploma or GEDWhat Will Put You AheadCompletion of 2 years of an accredited electrical training program or hold an Arkansas Electrical Journeyman license, or similar military experienceEfficient troubleshooting and programming knowledge using PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers)Knowledge of computer systems and the ability to learn new software applicationsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics/blueprints*About Elite Technical Recruiting: *Elite Technical Recruiting is a Direct Placement firm partnering with manufacturing companies, successfully placing Skilled Trades and Engineering professionals.
