Description:
Enable Tulsa Technology Center facilities to maintain a necessary state of readiness for staff and students by providing timely installation and repair of electrical systems in new construction and remodels..
Essential Functions:
* Install electrical equipment components, parts and systems with a minimum of disruption to classes, offices, or work areas.
* Troubleshoot and repair problems with electrical and components, equipment and systems; restoring use with appropriate expediency.
* Test electrical components and systems at project completion points to ensure the installation is ready for users.
* Determine material orders; price materials; create requisitions and purchase orders: order materials for new construction and remodel projects.
* Review and validate work orders to ensure appropriate materials and methods will be used to satisfy request.
* Consult with end users concerning electrical needs during construction and installation of wiring.
* Manage critical time frames for job completion; accommodate changing plans and specifications during job installation.
* Maintain District compliance with electrical code for projects under supervision.
* Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervisor and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.
Job Requirements:
* This position requires a minimum of three years experience working as a Journeyman Electrician.
* Skilled in use of meters and test equipment for electrical systems and, be able to interpret findings.
* State of Oklahoma Journeyman and appropriate local Electrician license
* Must have a valid Class D Drivers License.
* Bilingual is a plus

High School Diploma or equivalent

Hiring Range:
$44,223 to 48,852 annually dependent upon experience plus $9,000 additional compenstion yearly for salary-in-lieu of paid dependent benefit coverage.
