- Overseeing installation of alarms, leading the team, alarm techs (fire alarm experience is a plus)
- At least 2 years of installing/programming/troubleshooting Fire and Security Alarms in large commercial retail stores.

Insight Global's client, a leading IT Infrastructure Security company, is seeking to hire an Alarm Technician in the Wichita, KS market. This lead technician will be responsible for overseeing the installation of all fire/security low-voltage equipment in big box retail stores for customers such as Walmart, Kroger, Home Depot, Target, and many more. You will be troubleshooting, testing and programming Fire alarms, Burglar alarms, Access Control panels, CCTVs, POS systems, and more.
- Usually, you will need to work overnight (10pm-7am) when the stores are under operations and cannot have installations go on while they are open for business.
- Will need to be willing to travel. Depending on the need/project, you can be on the road for a few days at a time. All expenses (hotel/gas/per diem) will be paid for.
- Need to be able to use your own vehicle during the contract (6 months) until you convert to a permanent employee. You will then receive a company vehicle. While using your own Transportation, you will receive a gas card and a weekly stipend.
