Responsibilities/ The Impact You Will Make in this Role:
As a(n) Electrician you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
+ Test, install, replace, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
+ Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
+ Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
+ Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
+ Read work orders and specifications to determine machine and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
+ Record and document repair and machine maintenance information.
+ Assist in training maintenance apprentices.
Monitor activities of other people working including contractors.
Your Skills and Expertise : To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Required:
+ A minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting.
+ Completion of Federally Certified (8,000 hours) formal industrial manufacturing skilled craft training program or equivalent. Or a college degree from a technical school in the electrical field.
+ Willingness to be on-call.

Pay Transparency:
The starting rate of pay for this position is $42.99/hour. This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
