Job Title: Electrician Helper Job Description Job Title: Electrician Helper Experience Required: 1-2 years in the commercial field Job Overview: We are looking for a committed Electrician Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in new commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring.
- Pull and run wires in new commercial construction projects.
- Install circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical plans.
- Bend and install conduit using pipe benders, including PVC, steel, and carbon metal pipes.
- Troubleshoot existing wiring to determine usability.
- Utilize basic hand tools and drills effectively.
Essential Skills - 1-8 years of experience as a Commercial Field Technician.
- Proficiency in working with PVC pipe, conduit, and wire.
- Experience in bending and installing conduit, including EMT for commercial projects.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring them up.
- Competence in pulling and running wire.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical plans.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Must have all required hand tools.
- Must provide your own PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and safety vest.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Experience with MC Cable is highly preferred.
