StudioBuilt homes are constructed at Amherst's housing studio in Cuero, Texas as well as partner studios across the Southeast and then installed on site. At full capacity, the Cuero facility will create over 250 manufacturing jobs, making Amherst the third largest employer in the area. The StudioBuilt team is comprised of experienced individuals from all trades, working to continuously improve the production process.We are looking for professionals with a current electrical license within Texas. If you possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership traits this is the opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of a new venture in Modular housing in the Cuero, TX studio.
Required:- Must have Valid Electricians Texas JMN License
- Minimum of one year experience
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings /blueprints etc.
Job Duties:- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Plant and Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Inspects and tests all electrical work carried out on the Home.
- Works with equipment installations and re-alignment of cells.
- Works with diagnostics and repair equipment and facilities.
- Maintains and updates equipment documentation, schematics etc. for future reference.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties
Work Environment:- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member may be exposed to noise, wood products, plastics, lubricants moving mechanical parts and vibration.
Requirements:- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written, verbal and presentation skills) and maintain a professional level of interaction with all members of the company to deliver accurate information.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
