  • Install, maintain, and repair all electrical and electronicsystems on site including, equipment, and components on all plant productionmachinery and equipment, following electrical code, technical manuals,schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
  • Observe electrical and electronic equipment in operation tolocate causes of trouble and develop plan for repairs.
  • Test malfunctioning or improperly operating components orequipment and facilitate required adjustments or repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electrical componentslike relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic componentslike printed circuit boards and programmable controllers.
  • Operate programmable controllers to program and operateautomated machinery, test for malfunctions, and verify repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty hydraulic, and pneumaticcomponents on machinery equipment.
  • Perform all routine electrical preventative and predictivemaintenance duties on all associated mill equipment.
  • Communicate directly and professionally with operators abouthow equipment is running to learn about any problems.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the planningand scheduling departments to ensure all required maintenance and repairs arecompleted as required.
  • Submit work requests, and fill out completed work orders toinclude actions taken, parts used, and man hours consumed.
  • Comply with and participate in corporate wide safetyprograms, including but not limited to PPE and lock-out requirements.
  • Maintain/ Repair high voltage switch gear and components(12470 volts).
Required Qualifications:
  • Two year technical degree in Industrial Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience may substitute for degree.
  • Three years of experience in electrical work or a two year Technical Degree in industrial electrical, electronics, or related field.
