Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to ServiceElectricianThe Electrician I performs basic technical tasks including maintaining tools and equipment, managing lighting, inspecting and repairing electrical devices, and maintaining electrical circuits.Maintain Tools and EquipmentRegularly inspect all ministry-issued tools and equipment. Complete equipment repairs as needed, or notify the appropriate party for replacements.Manage LightingInspect and diagnose luminaire issues in both interior and exterior systems. Replace or repair any failed components.Repair Electrical DevicesHandle any ministry requests regarding faulty receptacles, switches, plugs, connectors, etc. Replace or repair any failed components.Maintain Electrical CircuitsInstall all residential wiring and all types of flexible conduits, including simple conduit bending work. Inspect and maintain wiring and conduits as needed.FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt)EducationHS (Required), Vocational/Trade Degree: Electrical TradesWork Experience1+ years in electrical trade, 2+ years in electrical tradePhysical Requirements and SkillsAbility to lift 50+ pounds, Electrical Testing, Electric Circuits, Hand Tools, Ladders, Lift, bend, stretch, push, or pull as needed, Platform Lifts, Power Tools, Scaffolding Safety, State driver's licenseIdeal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; and must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
