- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure safety standards are being followed.
- Perform plant machine and equipment maintenance and repair, adjustment, servicing, overhaul and installation of plant equipment and machinery consisting of furnace buildings, crushers, conveyors, Fan's, and high-speed robotic bagging systems
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on the high voltage (34 500V) installation consisting of outdoor switchgear, cables, and large furnace transformers
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control wiring systems
- Execute routine electrical maintenance tasks as delegated within a high paced production environment
- Investigate and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues utilizing suitable test equipment
- Possess expertise and familiarity with conduit installation, wire sizing, and industry best practices
What You'll NeedTo be successful in this position, you must:
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical school/military training with work experience as an electrician
- Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and adept in quick, critical thinking
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation, and control systems. Experience with robotics, VFDs, PLC, PAC, and any industrial automation a plus
