Energizer is seeking an exceptional Electrician/Controls Technician to support our Marietta, OH EMD facility. This role is crucial in overseeing all electrically related processes involved in battery packaging. **Universal Accountabilities:**
As a Plant Electrician, you will leverage your knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and resolve electrical controls issues on existing equipment and processes, while maintaining all company safety standards. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering Department to continuously enhance equipment and manufacturing processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshoot and solve electrical controls problems on production equipment.
+ Maintain compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and equipment.
+ Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
+ Work independently with minimal supervision.
**Required Skills and Experience:**
+ Experience as a skilled tradesperson in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed.
+ Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 75 lbs.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency in personal computers and relevant software.
+ Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (NEC).
+ Knowledge of safety disciplines as outlined by OSHA.
+ Experience with PLC control systems, particularly Allen Bradley products, including reading and understanding ladder logic programming.
+ General electronics competencies, including knowledge of pneumatic valves, hydraulic systems, motors and control systems, Variable Frequency Drives, stepper motors and controllers, servo motors and controllers, P&ID controls, and various sensing devices (proximity, photoelectric, mechanical, etc.).
+ Strong mechanical aptitude is a plus.
**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
+ An Associates degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant training, education, and experience with progressive employment in Electrical Maintenance and Industrial Controls.

**Pay Details:** $31.53 to $33.53 per hour
