Duties - You will work with hand tools and measuring devices related to electrician work.
- You will troubleshoot problem areas by inspecting for defective electrical equipment or faulty wiring.
- You will determine the type, size, and measurements of wire, conduit, couplings, and fittings to use for safe operation of distribution systems.
- You will calculate circuit and equipment values using electrical theory (e.g., Ohm's law, power factor, transformers, series and parallel circuits, line-loading).
- You will review electrical drawings to determine the material and equipment to be used for proposed work requests.
