What You Will Be Doing:
- Panel Shop Responsibilities:
- Interpret wiring schematics and panel drawings.
- Wire PLCs and other electrical components to terminal blocks.
- Design and lay out panels in adherence to UL508A and NEC standards.
- Receive, unpack, organize shipments, and label inventory.
- Maintain shop safety through housekeeping duties.
- Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls promptly and within the expected timeframe.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including panels, motor controls, and industrial components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Install power supply wiring and conduit, including bending and installing rigid conduit.
- Lead construction projects and ensure all work meets code requirements.
- Work on instrumentation devices and motor terminations.
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and follow specifications accurately.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a panel shop setting would be an asset.
- Ability to read and build according to drawings and specifications.
- 3rd pr 4th year electrical apprentice or Journeyman.
- Experience as an electrician, particularly in industrial settings (e.g., Water/Wastewater, Oil & Gas) preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and instrumentation.
- Strong independent work capabilities and customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
- This position is based in our Midland shop with work in industrial field settings as needed.
- Monday-Friday schedule with 8-hour days and potential overtime.
