We have an excellent opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in the Horsham, PA location. The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting assembly, test, and production work related to electro-mechanical devices. Tasks include electrical assembly, wire harness fabrication, circuit board component installation and other tasks essential to electro-mechanical component fabrication.This role reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Tasks and Responsibilities: Reads, understands, and follows engineering assembly drawings, bill of materials, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and misc. supporting documentation Wire harness fabrication utilizing wire splicing, crimping, Molex and Amp connector installation and on a multitude of different connectors and cable types Assembly and calibration of electro-mechanical products Assembly and test of various mechanical systems using standard electronic test equipment Electrical parameter checks on final assembly of electro-mechanical products Other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintains a clean and safe work area Requirements: High School Diploma is required. Must have basic experience with hand and power tools (cutters, strippers, crimpers, etc.) Basic electronic experience, soldering to J-STD-001, familiarity with and capable of operating standard electronic test equipment; oscilloscopes, meters, frequency generators, etc., is preferred.
