General Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in vital signs, medical terminology, and physiology knowledge to support our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient for EEG exam by utilizing the International 10/20 system to mark and apply electrodes. Routinely achieves impedances levels below 5k ohms.
• Obtaining technically satisfactory recordings by modifying recording parameters and noting patients behaviors.
• Identifies and eliminates outside interference on recordings.
• Troubleshoots EEG equipment and arranges support.
• Inspects for malfunctions and makes minor adjustments. Reports to supervisor all major repairs.
• Evoked potential and nerve conduction velocities experience a plus
• Other duties assigned as related to EEG.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Graduate from an accredited or formal certificate EEG program, required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent certification, required.
• Prior EEG experience, preferred.
• Ability to communicate with team and patients effectively.
