Job DescriptionUnder supervision, and in accordance with standardized procedures, operates electroencephalograph equipment to measure impulse frequency and differences in electrical potential between various area soft he brain to obtain data for use on diagnosis of brain disorders; performs related work.
Duties & Responsibilities1. Subject to medica lauthority, prepares and positions patients for electroencephalograph tests.2. Attach eselectrodes of electroencephalograph to specific position on patient's head.3. Turns on machine and rotates switches to obtain tracing of impulses from various parts of the brain. Eliminates tracing caused by outside interference.4. Identifies tracing and prepares records.5. Makes minor adjustments and repairs.
