Job Description:
Develop/track Shock Deficiency Correction Plans (SDCP)/Vibration/ Electromagnetic Reports for US Navy electronic communication systems.Responsibilities
  • Access and utilize eShock to submit SDCP's, SQAFs, and extension request.
  • Track shock status of communication equipment within a database.
  • Develop/review Shock/Vibration/ENI test plans/test results.
  • Witness onsite at various locations Shock/Vibe/EMI testing for ISEA approval.
  • Act as liaison between the IC Voice In Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) and Shock / Vibe/ ENI Technical Warrant Holders and Original Equipment Manufacturers
  • Provide periodic status reports containing Shock/Vibe/EMI qualifications
  • Maintain a database accessible by the IPT with all environmental testing
  • Develop and maintain EQT POAMS
  • Develop and submit waivers/RFVs (request for variances)/DFS (departure from spec) to Technical Warrant Holders.
  • Position is Hybrid.
Qualifications
  • BS in an Electrical/Electronic program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Microsoft Project/Word/Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Secret Clearance or an ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Navy experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to learn new programs/systems and establish base line databases
  • This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Suffolk, VA.
