TCI has an immediate need for Electronic Assemblers in State College, PA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.NOTE: This position requires US Citizenship.SUMMARYThe Electronic Assembler is responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.REQUIREMENTS 1-3 years of work experience in assembly with smaller parts. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to lift 5-32 lbs, routinely. Ability to read and follow work instructions/schematics. Experience with PCB is a plus. Knowledge of computer systems. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is a must. Soldering experience is a plus. Must be a US Citizen.
