Job Title: Micro Electro-Mechanical Technician
Job Description
The Micro Electro-Mechanical Technician will perform all assembly operations on standard, new, and special designs, as well as functional testing and final testing. The position involves fabricating and assembling miniature electro-mechanical assemblies and devices using manual dexterity skills. Candidates will work on the first shift from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, assembling transducers and electronic components for the air and defense industry. The role requires soldering small parts under a microscope and standing 80% of the day.
Hard Skills
Small parts assembly and soldering under a microscope
Experience assembling or working with electronics
Ability to work off of schematics
Ability to use a computer
Soldering, resistance welding, mechanical fastening, and adhesive bonding and wiring
Fabricate and assemble miniature electro-mechanical assemblies
Conduct and troubleshoot various calibrations
Surface cleaning, identification, labeling, inspection, and packaging of components
Limited functional testing and troubleshooting of sensors
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
Ability to multi-task and work both independently and with others
