Job Description Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring an Electronic Assembly Lead for a prominent communications company in Boonton, NJ. Qualified candidates must have at least three years' experience in electronic assembly or equivalent. Location Boonton, NJPayrate: Base Pay $24.00 + 30% = 31.20 until benefits are gainedShift: 1st - 7 am-3:30 pm Effective w/e 11/25/2023 all new starts for Boonton will have a 30% increase to their base pay to cover the client's compensation package. At conversion, candidates will lose their 30% increase but will gain their benefits, including PTO and Holiday pay. This is due to the new law passed in NJ. Position Summary of an Electronic Assembly Lead: Responsible for the electronic assembly work cell which includes SMT, Harnesses, Sensors, Hand/Final Assembly, Selective Solder, and Rework. Organizes and monitors the workflow within the work cell based on the production schedule needs. Ensures that labor and quality standards are met. Ensures compliance with IS0 9001 Quality Management System. Prepares and maintains all work cell-related documentation and reporting. Responsible for work cell inventory and related transactions. Assists and coordinates the work of other employees as required. Responsibilities of an Electronic Assembly Lead:
  • Schedule, set up, coordinate, and oversee work within the department.
  • Complete work in the allowed time and notify the supervisor of deviation from the time standard while work is in progress.
  • Maintains physical work cell inventory.
  • Transacts job-related paperwork to include proper recording of labor and inventory.
  • Ensures compliance with IS0 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Assures that proper equipment and tooling are being used at all times and are kept in good and safe operating order.
  • Always maintains clean and safe working conditions.
  • Assists assemblers as required.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Coordinates and maintains cross-training as documented within the product's skills matrix.
Qualifications of an Electronic Assembly Lead:
  • Minimum of 3 years of electronic assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, and other written work instructions.
  • Must be PC literate and have excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Mini Market, Kanban, and Pours experience preferred
