Electronics Design Engineer Job Description: In the MMIC business unit, we design MMICs and modules for applications such as Test & Measurement, Aerospace and Defense, Cellular infrastructure (5G), military radios, radars, and very smal aperture terminals (VSATs). We are looking for a junior silicon design engineer for our Lowell, MA location. You will:
  • Mainly focused on CMOS SOI MMIC layout designs using Cadence Virtuoso with guidance of senior MMIC designers.
  • Coordinate engineer characterization of for RF MMIC products, process data, and host test reviews.
  • Prepare preliminary data sheets.
  • Have the opportunity to be trained for CMOS controller design.
Job Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering,
  • Knowledge of analog circuits including MOSFET, voltage reference, and operational amplifier.
  • Knowledge of digital circuits including CMOS inverter, latch, flip-flop and shift register.
  • Familiarity with Cadence IC layout.
  • Familiarity with CMOS, RF SOI, and SiGe processess is a plus.
  • Knowledge of simulation in Cadence and ADS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FPGA and microcontroller programing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drawing packages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB and LabView is a plus.
