DutiesThe following are the duties of this position at the WG-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.As an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic, you will:
- Repair, perform trouble analysis, modify, calibrate, align, program and install new and existing complex systems, i.e. coin presses, burnishers, ultrasonic cleaners and other related equipment, security, fires systems, programmable computers and solid state controls.
- Rebuild, overhaul, modify, install, maintain and test new and existing complex production and electronic equipment/systems.
- Evaluate circuitry interrelationships, interactions and interconnections of assemblies and systems.
- Coordinate with technical and professional personnel on matters affecting operating specifications, development of new control systems and their modification.
Requirements Conditions of Employment- All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
