ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1 RESPONSIBILITIES: - Efficiently respond to line calls and conduct PMs on a regular basis.
- Always maintains safe work practices.
- Must be competent in troubleshooting all equipment on site with the use of electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
- Must be able to maintain a log/work sheet of equipment repairs and problems.
- Must be competent in the use of all plant electrical test equipment.
- Must be able to set up line equipment and vision systems in accordance with a Master Production Record.
- Able to follow and understand production procedures, Good documentation practices, and Work instructions.
- Setup, maintain and troubleshoot Cognex Vision Systems.
- Setup, maintain and troubleshoot Systech Serialization Systems.
- Install or assist in the installation of new equipment, including proper layout and alignment.
- Must assist all other maintenance personnel in the event of a major plant breakdown.
- Must be able to work overtime on weekends.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - An Associate's Degree in Electronics.
- Experience with PLC programs.
- Experience with Vision inspection systems and control circuits.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Robotics and programming is a plus.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
- Experience adhering to CGMP regulations.
- Have good communication skills oral and written.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
