OverviewBowhead seeks a Senior Lead Electronic Technician/Installer for an upcoming opportunity with PEO C3T at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD.Incumbents are encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesManages all installers and will ensure that all installs are completed to specification. Reviews of radios and maintaining baseline (in coordination with TR engineers) of all TR installation technical drawings.Serves as a expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements.Independently designs, modifies, and constructs electronic and electro-mechanical instrumentation used in performance measurements on test and evaluation projects.Designs criteria is not always standardized or well established and/or improving and updating circuit elements/equipment in order to incorporate new advances where existing technical data is not always adequate may be the objective.Troubleshoots, installs, and mains C4ISR equipment as appropriate for the task.Distinguishes between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.Performs fielding, installation, operations, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, over the shoulder training, exercise and test support and maintenance.Provides expert technical direction and guidance to lower level technicians.Plans and performs installation, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for communications equipment, electronics equipment.Provides expert technical direction and guidance to lower level technicians.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline.AA or 2 years of technical school requiered.A minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in planning and overseeing C4ISR systems on US Army vehicles.Must have hands-on or educational experience in two of the following core technical areas: electronics, network support (hardware/software), computers (hardware or software), tactical radios, satellite networks, data encryption, web-based apps, encryption devices, COMSEC, or Platforms.Two (2) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
