Job Description:

Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP) invites you to join our proud team in Carlisle, PA. FSIP manufacturers and remanufactures electronics for numerous electric vehicle and equipment markets.

Our Electronic Technician position is first shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm and is located at our facility in Carlisle, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair motor controllers & electronic systems to component level
  • Soldering, assembly & disassembly of electronic motor controllers
  • Testing & repairing of printed circuit boards
  • Repair of both mechanical and electronic assemblies
  • Assemble, test and perform upgrades to electronic systems
  • Use of electronic test/monitor equipment

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proactive and self-motivated. The ability to test, evaluate, and repair complex electrical systems is required.

  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology or related field or Degree in Progress
  • Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronic circuits
  • Familiarity with modern test equipment
  • Proficiency with AC/DC drives
  • Ability to read electronic wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Ability to use hand tools for troubleshooting and repair
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in team environment
