- Assemble optical benches, spectrometer modules, and other related systems following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Handle delicate fiber optic cables and electronic components with precision and care.
- Conduct functional testing of spectrometers and sensor electronics using specialized equipment to verify performance.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on malfunctioning units, identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Inspect assembled parts and systems to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
- Document and report any discrepancies or defects found during assembly or testing.
- Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and any modifications or repairs.
- Provide feedback to engineering and production teams for process improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members to optimize assembly and testing processes.
