Cobalt Digital Inc. is an award-winning video conversion manufacturing company seeking a full-time electronic test technician. In this role you'll test and process Cobalt Digital products before they are shipped to customers. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing. Cobalt Digital offers group health insurance, a 401(k) with matching contributions, and a generous company holiday schedule.A typical day in Cobalt's test department will include processing untested products as they arrive from our factories. The work is in a fast paced environment and shifting priorities can be expected depending on customer, engineering, and sales requirements.Skills you will need to be successful:Experience reading and interpreting test procedures, schematics and engineering drawingsFamiliarity with measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and test signal generator monitors and analyzersHave an understanding of electronic circuit theory and designAbility to troubleshoot printed circuit board assemblies to the component levelSoldering skills and ability to do precision workStrong attention to detailCommunicate and describe unexpected issues to supervisors and/or engineering as they ariseKnowledge of broadcast video is highly desirableHave fun in a challenging and rewarding environmentThe above statements are a general description of work being performed.
