Job Description:

MagTech is currently hiring an Electronics Engineer for a manufacturing client in the Warren MI area. Please apply below if you are interested and meet the qualifications. Description: The Electronics Engineer is to set up complete test systems for new products and facilitate the testing and development of motor components and industrial electronics. Responsibilities: 2. Perform evaluations on all new Wind products to determine feasibility of support 3. Research and gather documentation required to support current and future repair capabilities 5. Develop standardized procedures including test and repair procedures. 6. Perform field service on various industrial controls as required 7. Train associates on new testing capabilities. 8. Ensures safety rules and safe work practices are followed throughout department. 9. Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development. 10. Schedule and conduct conference calls between customers and technicians as needed 11. Work with vendors on design and quality standards when manufacturing mechanical and electronic components. 12. Assist with determining warranties. 13. Assisting with Quality Department 14. Generating BOMs in job tracking software 15. Spot checking QC to ensure final inspections are completed and product meets quality standards. 16. Interface with ISO to document all need procedures and work instructions. 17. Generate a list of test equipment and test capabilities for all departments. 18. Maintain calibration documentation and ensure calibrations are performed when required Job Requirements:

  • Education-Bachelor of Science in an electronic field, preferred or demonstrated experience and knowledge.
  • Experience-5+ years' experience in industrial electronics, mechanical or hydraulic field.
  • Proficient with a CAD program
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, to include email, Word, Excel, MS Office, etc.
  • Be physically able to perform light lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
  • Able to read and comprehend industry related standards, procedures, specifications, requirements, etc.
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Forklift certification desirable.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Generate drawings using CAD programs
  • PLC programming, preferably Allen Bradley
