HiFyve is hiring for an Electronics Engineer in the Springfield, MO area!Pay & Benefits:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee product release from start to finish, including post-launch support.
  • Create and manage new product launch plans and feasibility studies.
  • Research and develop engineering standards for products.
  • Work with Engineering for technical info and remanufacturing approvals.
  • Create specifications by reverse engineering products and components.
  • Use component drawings, manuals, and bulletins to ensure quality.
  • Develop Bills of Material, including core and new components.
  • Create FMEA, work instructions, control plans, and labor standards.
  • Approve Change Requests and Document Change Notices.
  • Direct sourcing and pricing for new parts.
  • Approve aftermarket parts and new suppliers.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineer on tooling and testing for new products.
  • Communicate with accounting to establish cost standards.
  • Lead the PPAP process and submit required documents.
  • Develop information for part revisions and upgrades.
  • Direct and lead a team, and participate in the APQP process.
  • Submit monthly expense reports and review incidents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • BS degree required, preferably in Electrical or Engineering fields. Associate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience accepted.
  • 3+ years in project management.
  • Preferred: Manufacturing or development of electronic components, PCB manufacturing and repair.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting with product development and project management.
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machinery (welding, machining, wash, press, material handling).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and apply GD&T prints.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, and EPA standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and office equipment.
  • Ability to develop/recommend assembly and testing processes.
  • Walking, standing, stooping, bending, lifting, reaching.
  • Regular attendance and overtime are required.
  • Ability to read MSDS sheets.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate knowledge.
  • Design experience is a plus.
