Join Blue Origin as an Electronics Manufacturing Supply Chain Engineer II, supporting the design, production and testing of multiple avionics systems for control and ignition of Blue's liquid rocket engines.

In this role, you will:

* Partner with design engineering teams to ensure that design-for-manufacturing (DFM), design-for-test (DFT), and other DFx objectives are considered during the initial design phase.

* Partner with contract manufacturers to establish build processes and tooling.

* Partner with test engineering to validate and verify designs.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues or non-conformances encountered by the contract manufacturer.

* Serve as the overall engineering focal representing Blue Origin to the contract manufacturer.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred).

* 3+ years of avionics or electronics hardware manufacturing experience on the job.

* Understanding of engineering fundamentals of aerospace avionics/electronics hardware.

* Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Must Haves:

* Experience in avionics/electronics instrumentation, controllers, and harnesses/cabling hardware manufacturing, preferably within a contract manufacturing support environment.

* Exposure to supporting suppliers as an electronics hardware manufacturing engineer.

* Experience in non-conformance technical triage, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation and effectivity follow-ups.

* U.S. citizenship or lawful admission as a refugee or asylee.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

* Experience in SOW generation and compliance.

* Travel expected up to 30% of the time.

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $89,820.00-$125,748.00

Other site ranges may differ
