Our commitment is unwavering as we strive to revolutionize the landscape of in-line inspection, setting new standards for excellence.Position Summary: An ILI Electronics / Reliability Technician will be responsible for maintenance, repair ILI tools. This role troubleshoots the reliability of the ILI Tool. Create corrective actions to improve the quality of the ILI tool and supporting systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills in both the mechanical and electronic disciplines allowing him or her to continually increase the success rate. This full-time position reports to the Repair and Maintenance Supervisor.Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety is put first in the execution of all tasks and processes.
  • Support ILI crews during tool build process from electronic hardware configuration standpoint.
  • Assist the ILI Reliability Technician II and II during building, maintaining, and repairing ILI tools including electronic and mechanical components.
  • Support the ILI Reliability Technician II and II in troubleshoot process for ILI tool systems identifying failure points and root causes.
  • Support the ILI Reliability Technician II and II to implement corrective actions and when possible, identify preventative actions to further improve the reliability of the ILI tool.
  • Fix ILI tools asset locations, maintenance, and usability.
  • Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum: High School or equivalent.
  • Preferred 2-year College and/or Technical Electronic Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years ILI experience preferred.
  • Possesses the knowledge to explain electronic circuit functionality, failure points, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to build and repair electronic components including printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, surface and through hole soldering.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic failures down to a component level using schematics and test points.
  • Ability to build, repair and maintain mechanical assemblies using drawings, procedures, and verbal direction.
  • Ability to train personnel on technical processes and procedures.
  • Ability to track quality performance identifying trends, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • DOT Drug and Alcohol Test (Required as a condition of employment)
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check.

  • MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) Check
  • Passport or ability to obtain one in 6 months.
  • Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • 25% to 50% overnight travel
