Job Description:
P-CSD-0013 days per week - M-F - 5In this role, you will be integral to managing the full life-cycle of our media devices, including on-car LED displays and in-car tablets. Your role will ensure our devices are efficiently processed, maintained, and deployed, supporting our mission to build the largest transportation media network.Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Telematics and cameras
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools.
  • Must have basic knowledge of low voltage DC electronics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform wiring repairs is necessary.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Device Lifecycle Management:
    • Receiving & Inspection:
      • Check in new devices from suppliers and perform quality assurance inspections.
      • Document and record device details upon receipt.
    • Provisioning & Storage:
      • Provision devices and store them until they are ready for deployment.
      • Organize and manage inventory, including devices, replacement parts, tools, and equipment.
    • Deployment:
      • Coordinate shipment of devices to field locations and assist with logistics.
      • Manage tablet and Halo inventory, shipping, and receiving operations.
      • Learn how to install a hard mounted tablet to understand how it works.
      • Occasionally repair active tablets that are deployed into the field.
      • Collaborate with field teams, installers, and technicians for effective device deployment and support.
    • Maintenance & Repairs:
      • Diagnose and repair non-operational devices, logging repairs and parts used.
      • Manage device swapping, including returning swapped devices to the warehouse.
      • Refurbish devices as needed, handling recalls, suspending SIMs, and preparing devices for redeployment.
      • Perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure devices are roadworthy.
  • Inventory & Logistics:
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and update logs.
    • Organize and manage tablet refurbishment processes, including storage and pallet shipments.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Create and maintain work orders, documenting repair details and failure modes.
    • Participate in daily meetings, providing status updates and contributing to process improvements.
    • Assist in writing and updating standard operating procedures.
  • General Duties:
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
    • Perform general housekeeping tasks and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Handle inventory management and shipping logistics, including pallet organization and preparation for NY-bound shipments.
