Position Summary This is a 2nd shift Electronics Technician position, assisting engineers, engineering aides and technicians with test set-up, recording test data, maintain test data file systems, shop routing documentation and accept/reject data for production and some engineering units. Assist in determining if failure is attributed to product or test equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities - Assist technicians, engineering aides and engineers as directed.
- Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
- Use hand and small power tools and various measuring and testing devices such as volt-amp, meters, oscilloscopes, signal test generators, power supplies, counters, etc in performing job duties.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that is cooperative and supportive of customers, co-workers and managers.
- Maintain an organized work area.
- Work overtime as necessary to complete required work assignment with little or no advance notice.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications- Electronics Technician Associates Degree or equivalent Associates Degree or equivalent Electronics Technician training or equivalent military Electronics Technician training.
- Up to 2 years of relevant work or school experience related to testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits and/or electronic components.
- Up to 2 years of training or work experience using manual and automated test equipment (which may include some of the following: multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal test generators, power supplies, counters, etc.).
- Some knowledge and experience, from school or work, reading, interpreting, and using engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, specification documents, and electronic schematics to perform work.
- Must be eligible to qualify and obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance, if required upon employment with L3Harris or in the future as an L3Harris employee.
Preferred Qualifications- Electronics circuit repair and Soldering in a school or work environment
- Experience working in the Defense Industry.
- Experience working in Electronics Manufacturing.
