PLC electronics technician 3rd shift Valdosta, Georgia (On-Site) Permanent Job Description Job Title: PLC electronics technician 3rd shift Location: Valdosta, GA Full-time, permanent position Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience On-site We at Raise are hiring for one of our key clients in the Food and Beverage industry. When you join their team, you'll find a workplace that facilitates challenge, achievement, and growth. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and test faulty equipment using test equipment or software. Inspect industrial equipment components for accurate assembly and installation. Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and HMI control devices. Maintain and use electrical-related software programs. Collaborate with the corporate IT department on data transfer and reporting. Provide technical expertise in automation and systems. Train team members and provide job aids, SOPs, and written instructions. Install and maintain inverter control packages and communication networks. Respond to call-ins outside of work schedule. Continuously improve existing systems and new projects. Adhere to safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Two years of experience in PLC, HMI, and motor control systems. Specialized training in PLC control and machine control. Knowledge of ladder logic, function block diagram, statement list, and more. Diagnostic and analytical skills. Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings. Flexibility to work hours to meet project deadlines. Physical Demands: Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
