**BWXT's Nuclear Operations Group - Lynchburg is currently seeking an Electronics Technician for its Lynchburg, VA location!**

BWXT is seeking skilled and motivated Electronics Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial electronics and be proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various electronic systems and equipment including, but not limited to, CNCs, Automated Welders, QC and Security equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain a safety conscious attitude.

+ Diagnose and repair electronic equipment using various tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes and hand tools.

+ Perform routine maintenance on electronic systems to ensure optimal performance.

+ Install, wire and de-bug new systems per electrical schematics.

+ Collaborate with team members to improve processes to reduce machine downtime.

+ Maintain accurate records of repairs, and inventory of parts.

+ Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the electronics field.

**Requirements**

+ Associate degree in Electronics.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in equipment repair.

+ Familiarity with CNC's and/or PLC automated systems

+ Ability to use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

+ Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and managers.

+ Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[cust_salaryMin]] and $[[cust_salaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
